Shoveling Snow!

If there is anything that I truly dislike, it is shoveling snow. However, it was either I do the shoveling or the snow turns to ice before Jake has a chance to do it. Um, no. So I was out in my driveway shoveling about 15 inches and adding it to the already large piles on either side. Thankfully, my kind neighbor came and helped me after he had finished his driveway. Even with both of us working, it took about an hour and a half just to shovel the driveway and our walkway up to our door. I'm not even considering shoveling the backyard because, well, you'll see.

Before

After!

A nieghbor's snow piles! Our's weren't that high!

The abominable snowman! Not really, it's our barbeque!

The snow is piled so high in our backyard! This snow is about 4 feet deep! Crazy!

I do not envy you having to shovel, but I DO envy all the beautiful white snow. Sometimes I really miss the ambience of it all.

For my blogging backrounds, I JUST learned how to do the basics. I go to photobucket.com and type in the search a basic of the look I'm looking for, i.e. polka dots, red. You want it to be scrapbook paper for that look. Then you click on "Direct Link", which automatically copies it. Then you go to your blog and go to edit HTML and paste that part under: "backround image"....it will look something like this:

I know this i probably all crazy and confusing. If it is, call me and I'll help you with it all. You really have to mess with it all for a while. i'm still figuring it all out.

PS- to use Photobucket you have to register to use it. No biggie.

I'll bet you've got some big guns now from shoveling! What a nice neighbor, indeed!

Jessica! I don't know if you remember me, but you know my husband Bryan, I'm pretty sure. Anyway, what a SNOW DAY! I don't miss it, but I love the look of it! :) Hope it melts and becomes spring for you SOON!
